San Diego

Since we have moved to Hanford, Matt and I have really tried to take advantage of seeing what California has to offer, since Hanford is not particularly exciting. Any weekend that we both have off we try and travel as much as possible, and we have been pretty much everywhere from San Francisco to San Diego. So Matt and I decided to squeeze one more little trip in before the baby comes... kind of like our last freedom weekend before we are super busy with the little mann.
It was so nice to get away. We walked around the Gaslamp District downtown, and ate dinner outside at a cute little Italian restaurant called La Boca. Then we drove to the beach and watched fireworks. From the bay, we could see 5 different firework displays.

The next morning we slept in and went to Mission Beach to relax in the sun and play in the water. This picture is my favorite... This was Matt's expression when the water first touched his feet... Sometimes he is a tiny bit dramatic!

Me and Matt

My husband is so Mmm Mmm Mmmmm!

This guy was laying next to us on the beach, so of course I had to sneak a photo. It got me thinking... What is the advantage of having a tan line half-way up your cheek versus the whole cheek? Ooooh baby! LOL

We went to lunch and headed home. Unfortunately, we got stuck in traffic and it took us about 7 hours to get back. My (c)ankles were not too happy with me.

I think I have seen feet like these somewhere before...

Looks like you had a great weekend cousin. Don't worry, you will have normal feet again. Been there. It seems like change in altitude did it for me when I went on vacation pregnant but as long as it goes down with rest I wouldn't worry too much. Just make sure you get your feet above your heart. Love you and good luck with TC. Hope to see you soon. :)

So jealous that you spent your holiday at the beach! I love that everyone is trying to figure out which cabbage patch that is, but I'm going to have to agree with Katie! Miss you!
