Well the last couple of weeks has been pretty hectic around here. We moved to Hanford two weeks ago and I am loving it! I get to sleep in an extra half hour every morning... yesss! We are almost all the way unpacked, and I will post pictures of the new place as soon as everything is finished. We rented a Uhaul, and we only took out one curb during the process so I'm gonna go ahead and chalk it up to a success.
A picture of Matt and the Uhaul - I suggested he hang off the side with "jazz hands" but this is the best I could get.
Matt reminding us that it's imortant to stay hydrated during the move.
Matt picked out our new washer and dryer and I couldn't be happier about it.I have been doing laundry at a laundrymat for the last year and a half, and it is so nice to have a set of my own! The washer even has a timer where I can load it, and program what time I want it to start, so it starts when I'm sleeping, and when I wake up the clothes are ready to be put in the dryer. On the first load Matt and I just stared at it for several minutes without speaking... It's a dream come true.
I bought some cool new/old furniture at an estate sale last weekend, and Matt and I started a project refinishing it for the apartment. Matt decided he needed a new power drill (not really sure why) and I'm starting to question if he loves the drill more than me! After drilling something, he blows the end off like a "smoking gun". I told him that was not really necessary, but the "smoking gun" thing has yet to stop. Yesterday he started referring to the drill as "my baby". I'm pretty sure I have created a monster. But by the time I got home from work yesterday, Matt had put together the crib and dresser, so I'm not going to complain about it :) Hopefully we will have TC's room all set up by this weekend!
The ladies I work with threw me a baby shower on Friday. I feel so lucky to work with these women... they definately spoil me!
Matt has joined a community softball league with Garrett and plays on Monday nights. I had no idea how good he was! The people around me kept making little comments like "wow he has a rocket for a right arm" and "he has obviously played ball before". I would reply, "Oh, thank you." Like somehow it was an indirect compliment to me. It's weird, but in the last two and a half years I have never watched Matt play sports. He is definately a natural athelete, and I'm hoping our baby gets the athletic genes from him and not from me. Have you ever seen me play raquetball??? Or anything else for that matter?
We had our last ultrasound yesterday. Our baby is a small giant - if that makes any sense. Right now they have him weighing 4.7 pounds and he should be a little over 3. I'm sure delivery is going to be a breeze. It was so fun to get a little sneak peek at our little man though. He kept opening his mouth and sticking his tongue out at us - hopefully that is not a preview of his personality! Check out his lips.... He is gonna be a heartbreaker!

Have you been busy? I can't wait to see the new place and I'm SO jealous of the washer and dryer!! Matt is too funny with the power tools; he and Sage can't build anything together, it would become insane. I hope things are going good with the baby, keep us posted! Tell Matt Happy Father's Day!!
love it sis.
You're hilarious cousin! I would have preferred the Jazz hands also but maybe next pic. Are you naming him KC? I love it! Does it stand for something? Can't wait to see your baby(lil mann not the new drill)!
Oh abbey! I love you cuz! Really, I'm surprised you got Matt to do the pic but I really would have loved the jazz hands. Would have made my day! Cute pic of TC. Love you! Hopefully we will see you soon.
